After 25 years as a union AD, I love the fact that I'm still learning new stuff and facing new challenges on almost every job. I've been very fortunate to work with many talented and wonderful people on over 500 national commercials & numerous TV and Film Projects, and greatly enjoy the challenge of scheduling and figuring out how to maximize each shoot day to its full potential.

Each director or directing team has their own vision and rhythm of shooting which I strive to support while doing my best to set a tone of respect and kindness to all cast and crew.

I've gained invaluable experience on shoots incorporating a wide range of Special Effects, 360 degree photography, wild stunts, water work, car chases, gorillas, safely blowing stuff up, jumping off buildings, flying in helicopters, A C130, a black panther, drones, Morris The Finicky Cat!, and shooting in wonderful locations from Fogo Island, Newfoundland, to South America, Europe, Canada, Mexico and South Africa to exciting Topeka, as well as having the pleasure to work with talented performers including; The Aflac Duck, Jake from State Farm, Jake Johnson, The Muppets, The Weeknd, The Gremlins, Kevin Hart, Kevin Durant, Kevin Garnett, The kid who played Kevin in Home Alone (MaCaulay Culkin) A few other cool Kevins, The Sprint Guy who was The Verizon Guy, The Verizon Guy before he was the Sprint Guy, Bill Nye The Science Guy, Sugar Ray the Boxer and Sugar Ray the crooner, Jack Lemmon! (I'm old!), Jack from Jack in the Box (great guy!), Captain Obvious, Captain James T. Kirk AKA my idol Bill Shatner, Spiderman, Ben Stiller, Steve Martin, Jennifers Anniston & Coolidge, Ted & Ed, Danson & Helms, Lebron James, Deon & Colonel Sanders, Ok Go, Michael B. As an AD, the safety and health of cast and crew is my number one priority. In addition, I'm also always looking 3 steps ahead, staying calm, never finger pointing, always preferring to say "yes" to any requests, remaining mindful of budget and creative vision, keeping things running smoothly, and maintaining a sense of humor for up to 14 hours, at which point, I start repeating the same bad jokes from earlier in the day. I also believe in the power of music and often blast "Eye Of The Tiger" (or will take requests) on my iPhone right after lunch to get the crew back in happy work mode.
